Our mission is to help all kinds of people say 'yes' to God and become disciple-making missionaries in the community of Christ's church.

VISION

Our vision is to build a vital, reproductive, high-impact, Christ-centered community where:

• Every member experiences what it means to be reconciled to God through the perfect redeeming work of Christ on the cross.
• Every member experiences God's gracious gift of forgiveness of sins and a new life in Christ.
• Every member is "continually being filled with the Holy Spirit" and is empowered to fulfill their God-given roles as worshipers, disciples, husbands, wives, parents, children, workers, artists, explorers, discoverers, communicators, custodians of the environment, and all that it means to be a human being made in the image of a holy God. (Ephesians 5:18f)
• Every member is motivated to be "kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven them." (Ephesians 4:32)
• Every member recognizes and utilizes their spiritual gift for the building up of the body of Christ and the work of making disciples of all kinds of people everywhere.
• Every member connects meaningfully with the family of God through Christ-centered relationships in which they are empowered to love others and be loved, to know others and be known, to celebrate others and be celebrated.

 OUR VALUES

We seek to value what God values:

The Bible   Because the Bible is the living, inspired and authoritative Word of God given to us by the Holy Spirit's working, we hold it in the highest regard, giving thoughtful attention to its study and application in our lives.    

Prayer   Believers have the privilege of communing with God, conversing with Him in heart to heart fellowship and making requests in Jesus' name. We are commanded to pray in the Spirit, with all kinds of prayer and supplication. Because it is God's plan for us to be engaged in His work particularly through prayer, it is essential that prayer becomes an important aspect of our individual and community lifestyle. 

People   People are made in God's image. Even though that image has been damaged and distorted through the intrusive problem of sin, every person is valued by God and is to be received as a gift from God. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, and is especially mindful of the poor, oppressed, infirm and those who often cannot defend or speak for themselves.

Character   Character is more important than charisma. Our desire is to become evermore like Jesus. There is no greater paragon of virtue known to mankind than He who is the Word made flesh.

Community   It is not good that man should be alone. We were made in the image of a relational God and thereby are relational by design. The call of the gospel is a call to a relationship with the Triune God on the grounds of redemption. The call of the gospel is a call to community.

Outreach   The church is one of the only institutions that exists primarily for the benefit of its non-members. Jesus came to seek and save that which is lost. As the Father sent Him even so He has sent us. (Luke 19:10; John 20:21) He commissioned the church to go with the gospel and make disciples.

A Worldview in which Jesus is Lord Over All of Life   The arts and the sciences should reflect the glory of God. As J.S. Bach wrote on each completed musical score 'S.D.G.' standing for 'Soli Deo Gloria' which translated means 'to God alone be the glory', so S.D.G should be written over every aspect of our lives. (Colossians 1:18; 3:23)

Our Spiritual Heritage   We realize that our story is part of a larger story. We celebrate the men and women who have gone before us trusting God in exemplary ways (Hebrews 11; 13:7)

Excellence   The Lord is worthy of our best in everything. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
