Discovery World – Children’s Ministry at New Life
Discovery World is the children’s ministry of New Life Community Church, designed to help children discover who God is and how much He cares for them. Each week, we partner with parents to nurture their children’s spiritual growth through dynamic, age-appropriate Bible teaching and engaging experiences.
Our Mission:
To create a safe, joyful, and spiritually enriching environment where kids encounter the love of Jesus and the truth of God’s Word.
Sunday Classes by Age Group
Infants & Toddlers (Rooms 1 & 2)
Little ones experience the love of Jesus through simple Bible stories, songs, and sensory play. Our nurturing caregivers help build a foundation of faith and friendship.
Preschoolers (Rooms 1 & 2)
Preschoolers engage with Bible stories through hands-on crafts, play-based learning, and music—helping them understand and remember God’s love and truth.
Kindergarten – 1st Grade (Rooms 3 & 4)
Children begin to understand why Jesus came and how the Bible applies to their everyday lives through age-appropriate teaching, discussion, and activities.
2nd – 5th Grade (Room 5)
Students dig deeper into Scripture and learn to support and encourage one another as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. Small group time promotes discussion and personal discovery.
6th – 8th Grade (Room 6) & High School (Library)
Students attend worship with their families and are dismissed to class afterward. They study through the Bible with a focus on building a strong biblical foundation, developing a personal relationship with Jesus, and preparing to live out their faith in real-world settings.
Additional Support for Parents
A Mother’s Nursing Area is available upon request in the Admin B office.
Throughout the week, teens, parents, and young adults connect in Life Groups and return each Sunday to serve in Discovery World—modeling Christlike love and teamwork for the next generation.
